Founded by Armands Dokis and Edgaris Pukitis, Prelude Design is a boutique handcrafted studio based in Riga’s historic Film Studio. We create wall coverings that are uniquely bespoke—every piece designed, painted, and finished by hand, with no shortcuts and no compromises.

Our approach is rooted in craftsmanship and deep listening. When you come to us, you’re not choosing from stock inventory. You’re beginning a collaboration. We work with architects, interior designers, and design-led clients to understand your project’s context, vision, and technical needs. Then we create something that speaks to all of them.

We use original designs only—abstractions of texture and tone born from our lead designer’s decades of exploration. The materials we employ span from water-based paints and glazes to metallic foils and layered techniques. Each wall covering is made to order, crafted with meticulous attention, and finished entirely by hand.
